Wasser is a new type of fruit born from peaches and nectarines
I want to make the treasures my old man have created more delicious and more widespread
Wasser is a new fruit that was born 22 years ago at a farmhouse in Suzaka City.
It is slightly smaller than peaches, with a firm, crisp texture, and a moderate sweetness and sourness, and is rich in fruit juice. Another feature is that there are few individual differences in taste (beats and misses) and it lasts a long time.

This Wasser was born in the Nakamura family.
"In the past, we had mixed Yamane white peaches and nectarine planted in the fields. Then, peaches that didn't tender forever, and when I tried them, they tasted nice. After researching, I wasted them after a lot of research and thinking that this would become a new variety," the author told Toyohiko, the son of Nakamura Wataru, the creator. Currently, we are focusing on wasser production in a field of approximately 2.2 hectares.

Another thing Toyohiko inherited from his father. This is a corner where you can develop new variety that grow and graft seedlings (seedlings that have germinated and grown from seeds).
When we find seedlings, we transplant them into the development section and research cultivation is carried out while working normally. "I want to create a new wasser that follows my father's wasser," his eyes shining.

Wasser producer Nakamura Toyohiko (Suzaka City)
He left the local fruit and vegetable market and became a full-time farmer for about 15 years. He inherited the production of wassars developed by his father, and during busy seasons he harvested about 2 tons of harvest every morning. Orders are available from all over the country, from Hokkaido to Okinawa, and are also popular at Thai wives' parents' homes.

You may have a strong image of it being processed such as jams and dried fruits,ShinshuSo it's only natural to taste it raw.
For prunes, which are prone to cracking and are not good at rain, the Saku region, which has low precipitation, is suitable for cultivation, and its flavor has earned a great reputation, and new varieties are being created one after another.

Among the currently estimated more than 20 varieties, Tsuchiya Kihachiro developed the most popular "Sampon" for raw food. "It all started when native Western plums (prunes) were grafted on a rootstock of Japanese plums (plums) and grown them carefully, and they were brought to fruition," says his son Noriaki.
At the time, even though they were hard to grow, it was not well known and it was not well known, but it was an explosive hit when women's magazines introduced the beauty and health benefits of prunes, and it was apparently an increase in the number of producers.

Shimazaki also won the highest-ranked prefectural governor's award at last year's competition, and has taken full advantage of the fields his parents worked on since this year. "My father is a professional wood tailoring. Thanks to the branches and pruning that are designed to help the overall sunlight, it always produces good fruit every year. I once again realize how amazing it is," he looks respectfully.
He shows his desire to cherish the trees his father left behind along with his mother, who is still over 80 years old, and continue to create good things.

Brumley, a cooking apple that will turn into a delicious transformation by boiling and grilling.
The new specialty of Obuse, the chestnut town, is a cute green apple born in the UK.
As is known in the story of Newton's discovering the power of gravity, many households in the UK have apple trees, and are loved as healthy foods.
Most of them are cooking apples called cooking apples. Bramley, among which is said to account for about 45% of British apples.

The person who was advocated to introduce Bramley to Japan was Arai Yutaka, who was originally from Obuse Town and founded the Japan branch of the RHS (Royal Horticultural Association). Then, in my hometown of Obuse Town, six people, including Hiramatsu Koichi, came to support this project and set up a try.
"When I first ate it raw, it was so sour, so there was no way this kind of thing would sell. But when I cooked it, it tasted amazing. I was shocked to see how many apples there are," says Hiramatsu.
近頃は都内の大手フルーツ店とのコラボやテレビの取材などもあり話題沸騰。 It may not be long before it becomes a new specialty of Obuse Town, along with chestnuts.
